On behalf of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Forestry Commission (FC), is-sues with regard to workers' safety during rigging and dismantling practices used in arboricul-ture were investigated. Continuing former projects in this area, Treevolution from the UK and their German colleagues of Brudi & Partner TreeConsult joined efforts on this project and cooperated with two experienced arborists and trainers, Chris Cowell of Treepartner, UK, and Paul Howard, ArBO Baumpflege, Germany. On December 9th, the final report was published on the internet and may now be downloaded from www.hse.gov.uk.
