Evaluation of tree inventory data to assess ecological functions of trees

In the face of pressing environmental issues, TreeConsult offers targeted evaluations of the collected tree and site data in relation to specific environmental services provided by trees. How much carbon / CO2 does the urban tree population store ? Where are climatically effective trees missing ? How can biodiversity be increased at public tree sites? Which tree species have developed particularly well in recent years, which species show little growth?

For many years, Treeconsult Brudi & Partner has been maintaining digital tree inventories for municipalities and other real estate administrations. For some tree inventories, data storage goes back 10 years or more. Although the assessment of the public safety of the trees as well as an efficient measure management are still in the foreground, the terrestrially collected and therefore relatively accurate data hold a valuable treasure trove of data for the estimation of ecological services of the urban tree population.

Based on scientific studies, these data can be evaluated in a targeted manner; for the client, the benefits and informative value of their own tree inventory are increased.
